Four Easy Steps to Become a True Lunus

You are likely here because you have already spoken to Karane the Historian and have returned to Valkoth -- an indication that you have chosen the Path of the Lunus.

While the initial tasks are few in number and look simple, they are just an overview. A Rite of Passage can take over twelve hours to complete. The steps listed below are actually links to more details. A hatchling who wishes to enjoy the experience of the Rite of Passage will only refer to them when necessary. (Here there be spoilers!)

Valkoth will give you a deceptively simple list of tasks:

• Acquire a crystalline vessel
• Acquire a silver claw imbued with one's own blood
• Acquire a power source imbued with one's own will*
• Create a statue of your adult self

* This task can only be performed once a crystalline vessel has been acquired.

With the exception of the "Acquire a power source..." task, there is nothing special about this order. You may do them in whatever order you find to be convenient, one at a time or all at once!

Correction: 'Four Hard Steps and One Easy One'

Once you have completed those four tasks, Valkoth will give you an additional step:

• Create a Phylactery embodying your will and self

It is pretty simple once the hard work has been done. Don't allocate a whole day for this part.

Finally, once you have your Lunus Phylactery, you are given the task of energizing it -- the last step before you may use it to become an adult.

A Journey's End

After your final fight, you will then need to visit Lantenal and head to the Peak of Storms for your ascention to adulthood. This is usually a social event amongst dragons and close Naka. It is considered a courtesy to notify, invite and wait for (if they decide to come) those who have helped you along the way. If you want others to attend, this is the time to start talking about it!
